I have taken a liking to a girl around a year ago. We became best of friends through texting and talking to each other. Soon we found ourselves hanging out. We reached the point where we laughed and cried almost every moment together. In short, we became best friends. But I eventually confessed my feelings to her. Our friendship got totally screwed. We still talked to each other every now and then, but not as close. A few months passed and it was Valentine’s day. I confessed yet again. Same thing happens as in what did in my first confession. I went through four months of excruciating pain, trying my best to forget her. But when I saw her after our two month summer break period, I knew I had to sms her again. And I did. A few weeks later and I confessed, AGAIN. This time I went further. I told her that I “loved” her every night, before going to sleep. Also, I went to the trouble of talking to her at school seriously about my feelings, but she ended up walking away as if it was a joke. Then one night I figured that I should stop texting her. That was when our relationship went haywire. She would screw up my day, almost everyday, by shouting at me because of senseless stuff, and I retaliate. That phenomena happens until now. But a few minutes after that, we start talking to each other again. Cycle repeats. We don’t even talk much before. But now, every conversation seemed a thousand times sweeter, even if our words are a lot fewer than before. Even if I look and talk to other hot girls, I end up still thinking about her, despite her screwing up my everyday life. Am I in the state of love or just attraction/infatuation?
