My bf (48) and I (26) have been dating (as in together) for 1 month but we haven’t actually been “on a date” (an outing). He’s a doctor and works a lot, both at the hospital (including on call nighttimes) and private consultations. Every time I suggest we do sthg or go somewhere, he always has an excuse (on call, work late, tired, sick, must see his daughter, …). But he does have time to come on over for like 1h about twice a week- to have sex. On Sunday we were finally gonna go out in the evening and at 7 he sent me an sms reading he wasn’t feeling good and wanted to spend the night with his daughter. Then he turned off his cell phone. Monday afternoon he texted me again apologizing for it, he said he’d have family problems (I’m assuming with his wife) and he was really, really pissed and didn’t want me to see him like that. Eventually I accepted to come meet with him for a bit at the hospital and we talked in his office. I told him how I felt- like I am last on his list, that he’s just using me for sex, etc. He said I shouldn’t, he admitted not being there enough for me but he said that he does respect me and that he has to make a lot efforts to see me (I don’t know what he meant by efforts though, he didn’t explain and I didn’t ask). He also apologized for making me upset (I didn’t cry in front of him but I was clearly shaken with red&teary eyes and a broken voice). He suggested he come by [my house] tonight, as well as me taking a day or two or a week if I wanted to think about everything. I believed him because when he said that, there was sadness in his eyes. Later on that evening (about 4 h later) he texted me saying he couldn’t stop thinking about me and our conversation and that he does want to ever make me sad. I replied and we texted back and forth several times, until I told him it’d be ok for him to come see me today. And then this afternoon, BANG! He text me saying he’s feeling a sick-like as well as emotionally tired and is gonna go staright home from work. I replied that unfortunately I wasn’t surprised he was cancelling and that if he had a message to tell me he should just (like if he changed his mind and wants to break up, he should tell me rather than leave me hanging like this), and to that he replied that I shouldn’t put words in his mouth and that if he had sthg to say he would say it. I didn’t text back. Because I don’t know what to do. This is a man who can be so kind and generous (for instance, for Christmas he told me he’d get me a new phone, even a Blakberry, regardless of the price, there was no limit) who tells me such sweet things (recently he literally said that I make his heart beat) but then he’s so unavailable and I just don’t know. Yesterday he tells me he’s sorry, doesn’t wanna hurt me, blah blah blah and the 1st thing he does today is cancel on me (even though it wasn’t gonna be a date). Do you think he’s really trying or not to send me a message, is there sthg going on that I don’t know, maybe did he meet someone else or did he bore of me or maybe he actually have that many responsibilities on his shoulders???
P.S: I am not his mistress, I’m his gf. His wife and him are over, they just stay together like putting on a show for their daughter, but (according to what he told me before we started dating) she’s a nag and annoying and obsessive and controlling etc etc. And last night I also asked him at one point if she still loves him or not. He answered he didn’t know.

My BF was working abroad. We planned lots of things when he get home. His flight was scheduled on 23 dec. He sent me a message on 18th dec & he said that his vacation is not yet approved but definitely he will go home before christmas. But on the 20th my phone rang and i recognized his voice and he is using a local number and the background sounds like in the airport, it seems that he is trying to call somebody but i was the one he heard answering the phone so he hang up the phone. I texted him, but no reply. On the 25th midnight, he went online, we talked, & asked him why he didnt told me. He said that there is a family emergency & he is in confused mind that’s y he cant reply on my messages, ok, i tried to be understanding, the conversation went on as if nothing had happened, but. that’s it. that was the last conversation we had. it’s been 4 weeks now and no news from him yet, even a SMS message…i sent a message on his YM but no response. I checked his friendster and he was just recently logged in meaning he already read my messages but ignored it. I am convincing my self that it’s over..i will not wait in vain for him, but on the other side am thinking about “his problems” and don’t want to put more pressure on him…i don’t know…at least i need a third person’s opinion…thanks

I’ve had my bberry since a couple of weeks before christmas but my texttones aren’ working. I just downloaded some from myxer, they are working as my actual ringtone but not my texttone. I just has the annoying beeping. I go to my profiles and click on advanced then loud (active) i scroll down to SMS text and click on it says

Should I Try Again Or Just Leave It There?

now…its about this shy guy (a friend but not that close)who was linked to me last month..sounds funny, it started last Dec. we were like exchanging gifts and one of the family members(his uncle) wrapped me and gave me as a present for him…i was so surprised by that time..then they told him to unwrap me.and we should hug each other, and we did..then during another Christmas dinner…we sat on the table next to each other(family planned this) then after that i need to leave and his uncle told him to bring me home,and he said yes, we talked in the car and then bade goodbye,the 3rd dinner..i wasnt able to eat the salad bcoz im too full then his uncle told me to give the reamining food to him, and he still said yes,didnt refuse..then he ate it..we did a little chit chat last time.He asked me on how did i celebrate my new year,its kind of weird becoz he doesnt talk to me first, i always do the talking and then he responds briefly…during that night my feet is killing me like crazy(they have to massage it and put some bandage…and i caught him 2 times staring at my sprained feet and smiled grimly..and i tried to ask him whats so fuuny? he answered nothing..and smiled again…so we havnt seen each other for 2 and a half weeks..i wanted to invite him to watch a football game with my father..its for free..i ask for his number(through his aunt),first is sent him an Sms asking him if hes interested,but no reply,then after one day i tried to call him twice but the voicemail is just the one whos answering me,i think hes busy (school)…then i left a voice message but until now..nothing happens..so, should i try again? im really tired of this…

My grandparents take my brother and I on shopping sprees and they say it is because we are in school and need to look good. My step dad gets upset because they spend all I this money on my bro and I on school clothes and not his 3 and 10 month old. My grandparents said they would spend the sMs money on them if they wet in school. I’ve Been Secretly Admiring A Girl On-and-off For 10 Years. What Shd I Do?

This girl was my secondary school classmate. We used to know each other only barely. But God knows how many times i peeped at her during lesson instead of looking at the board. However, i was a shy boy (though still is) and the fact is that she had boyfriends one after another THROGHT OUT the teen years. and God know how many times i felt sour and my heart sank whenever i saw her with her guy(s).
During the poly years, i had a girlfriend and she was having a relatively more committed relationship. so my heart was with my girl at the time and hence u can only say that i have been a secret admirer “on-and-off” for 10 years.
OFF, is when i have a gf, my heart have no one else. and even when i’m single, i won’t fall for a girl who is attached.
ON, is for the times when we were both unattached. it kind of give me hope bcoz she is available. For the past 10 years, i never take any action for these “on” periods.
For the past 2 months, we kind of reconnect our communication. Bcoz i’m studying in uni now and she is working, we have chance to chat for few hours daily on MSN. (mon-fri working hours only though, coz she don’t usually use msn at home)
From recent chats,
she told me that she is now single, and she mentioned that she is not a late-queen for dates nowadays.
And after she know that i used to have one painful and hurtful relationship, she said that ppl have to move on and “if there’s a good girl whom u like then give it a try”
She also claims that she only regard herself who had only 2 relationships coz sec sch histores are just childish ones.
We talked a lot rubbish, shared a lot of views, joked a lot and “suan” each other a lot and i feel (or maybe only i feel)that we start to have some connection.
So, last week, i managed to find some courage a said..
“you wrote on my sec sch autograph book that i can call u anytime, so.. can i call u tonight??”
but she replied “lol.. i have a dinner appointment tonight.”
I was rather disappointed. I thought, if she doesn’t mind me calling she would have state a time or sth.
But soon after, she said “next time we catch up with a movie, after your exam?”, “when your exam finish?”, “talk is cheap, fix a date now”….
so, our tentative date (or sec sch class monitor-monitress re-union if putting it mildly) is 3 dec!! just 2 days aft my exam. But the point is that we only chat on MSN and have not advanced into phone-talk and constant sms-es.
I keep thinking of her recently. and thinking..
Shd i postpone it? coz i just had a bad haircut.
what shd i say? how shd i behave? will i just blush and panic? is that anything in my walldrode that can match her smile and style? shd i pay for everything? where shd we eat?? It’s not like i don’t have experience.
Although i had gf before. But this time is different. She is a special person to me. (else i won’t admire her for a decade
So now i’m like completely anxious and excited at the same time.
She is a very pretty girl to me. i looked at her that way for the past 10 years. so it’s not like i’m saying this coz she is grown up now and having her own fashion taste.
But i have a low esteem of myself. coz i don’t think i have the look. and that i’m just a poor student who owes the bank loan of $18k.
The tough point here for me is:
IS there another guys who express interest in her?
DOES she already has someone in mind?
when shd i tell her my feelings? the feelings that have been kept inside me for 10 years?
Should i buy her a present (and say it’s christmas present) for that day?
Should i just write a love letter and confess everything? (probably not coz she might freak out)
What shd we do after movie?
OR.. after all, she might actually just take it at friendship level and that i am thinking way too much?
I feel that, sooner or later, i have to confess my feelings for her and give it a try. else i’ll only keep thinking of her and suffocate myself.
What shd i do?
1) Taking it easy and naturally? (i think she will be taken by another guy if taking it slowly. coz she is just such a nice girl)
2) Show my feelings soon? (what if she got stunned and don’t talk to me even on msn)
I’m so paranoid!! How i wish that behind every girl there is a equation and by solving it, you understand her thoughts and have her loving you!
(haha.. i’m engineering student)
Can ppl out there advice me? Especially girls. I would be glad to hear your opinons. Thanks a lot if u manage to read finish this essay.
